Mason-Dixon Fair 5k

Race Day: Saturday, July 14, 2012
Start Time: 4:00 PM

  • Race route from fair grounds down main street and back
  • Water station at the Firehouse (approx at the mile and 2 mile mark)

Amenities:

  • T-Shirt for each participant (sizes not guaranteed if registering after July 1st)
  • 1 Free entrance to fair on Friday and Saturday with the of your bib number
  • Free Hamburger, small fries and drink ticket per registrant
  • 1 Free ride ticket per registrant

Fallston Duathlon to Support Shawn Loper

5K run / 18.5 mile bike / 5K run

RASAC Duathlon


Mark Downes has set up a duathlon on Saturday, April 7th at 7:30 am.  It will be a 5K run / 18 mile bike / 5K run.  If you are a RASAC member it is free otherwise it costs $4 to enter.  It is an informal event so no stopping of traffic at intersections or any kind of police support.  It is a great way to start the season.

First Wave at 8:00 AM

The race will consist of a 10 min pool swim, 30 min indoor bike in the studio, and 20 min run on the treadmills.  Subsequent waves  at 20 min intervals after the first one.  Participants can choose their prefered wave on a first come first served basis.

Registration Fee:
$45 for Arena Club Members
$60 for non-members

Amenities:
Participants will get a t-shirt
Prize $$ – 39 and under / 40 and up – Men and Women

St. Ursula’s 5k Run

Date: October 22, 2011 (Rain or Shine)
Location: St. Ursula School in Parkville, MD
Time: 9:00 am for 5k, 9:05 am for Kids 10 & Under Fun Run
Race Limit: n/a

Course Information:

The course will be 3.1 miles following an out and back design, starting and finishing at the school parking lot.  Two hills present a challenge to runners, but the course is all downhill once you reach Parkville High School on the way back to the finish.

Awards:

Awards to top 3 overall male and female, and top three in the following age groups:

15 and under, 16 – 19, 20 – 29, 30 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 –59, and 60+

All children who participate in the Fun Run will receive a ribbon regardless of finish

Amenities:

The first 200 registered participants will receive a T- shirt.  Sizes and availability can not be guaranteed for those registering on the day of the race.  There will be water on the course and at the finish, and timers at 1 and 2 mile marks. Results will be posted online @ www.harfordmultisport.org. There will be refreshments available after the race in the school gymnasium.

Packet Pick Up:

Packets will be available for pick up on the day of the race at the St. Ursula’s school gymnasium beginning at 7:00 am.

Directions to St. Ursula’s:

From points north via Interstate 95:

1. Take exit 44 for 695 west (toward Towson)
2. Take exit 31A toward Parkville
3. Proceed through the first flashing traffic light and make a left into the St. Ursula’s Church parking lot

From points west:

1. Proceed to 695 east toward Essex
2. Take exit 31A toward Parkville
3. Proceed through the first flashing traffic light and make a left into the St. Ursula’s Church parking lot
